Is there any place I can download this software?

I've just recently upgraded my computer and change OS from Win98 to WinXP.
And offcourse the Lego Mindstorm Vission Command does not even want to
install on the computer.... but I did know that it would not work.

But there should be a patch or a program or whatever, that is supporting
WinXP? I think I have seen this subject on Lugnet a long time ago. But I
could not find that message about the XP software.

I wrote to Lego and received an XP patch for Vision Command on a CD for free.

Hi, try this site, if you follow the directions carefully it works great. I
used it myself.

Hi :)

I contacted LEGO Support and they sent me the CD with the VC XP software
free of charge.

...this kind of support makes me always consider my money well spent when
buying LEGO :)

(now... if only they could also upgrade the hardware part of VC... modern
CCD/better picture and simple things like a Technic compatible focus
adjustment for simple motorization of it (I consider this a unexpected and
very weird design bug's !) :)

The focus problem can be solved, I've seen instructions and pictures on
Brickshelf about how to do it. Could not find it now...
It was something that was gripping the rubber ring on the focus adjustment
ring on the camera.

Has anybody tried a diffrent camera with the Vision Command software?
The VC Camera is recogniced as a Logitech camera, so probably would other
camera work with this software too?

This patch is only for preventing Mindstorms from automatically launching on an
XP restart.
